Nelson came from a poor family. He lived with his grandmother.  

His job was running around the town to bring letters to different places. His legs were strong and Ken, a trainer, noticed it. Ken took Nelson to participate in different competitions. And he believed Nelson can win at the Olympics...

Nelson won a lot of races and became famous. However, he was ashamed of his poor background...
