Jack Morgan has a company called Private. It helps the people and police in Los Angeles.

Jack recevied a call from his old friend, Andy.  Andy's wife, Shelby, was killed in their bedroom.

On the other hand, a serial killer appeared in Los Angeles. In two years, eleven young women were dead. 

Jack and other experts of Private tried to solved the cases in the same time. Jack asked help from a man who had close realationship with professional killers. And the experts of Private found out that some people are playing games to kill people on the internet.

Although this version of "Private" has only 55 pages, the story is still quite entertaining.
