An isolated island, several strangers who
seems innocent were killed one by one, a poem which implied murder cases…Are
these plots seems familiar?
A lot of detective stories were based on
this famous fiction, “And then there were none”.
Ten strangers were invited to Soldier
Island with different secret reasons. Mr. Owen, the owner of the Island, was a
mysterious person. He never appeared even when his guests arrived at his house.
The guests saw a poem was hanging on the
wall. The poem described ten soldiers were killed by different accidents. When the
guests were having drinks in the sitting room, they heard a strange voice
played by a record. It accused all the guest had committed crimes in the past.
All the guests denied the charges or
refused to discuss it. One of the guests suddenly died as poison was found in his
drink. It was similar to the description in the poem.
Other guests were murdered one by one. Can
the remaining find the truth and Mr Owen before they were killed?
“And then there were none”(F CHR) is a famous
mystery novel written by Agatha Christie. A lot of films and plays were adapted
from it. You can read this exciting story in the school library soon.
