What will our lives look like without telephones, computers and airplanes?

So many inventions have changed the world. It will be much more difficult to spread ideas without the skill of printing. Before telegraph is invented, some people built up moving arms at the top of top building as a way of signaling. Do you know that Pythagoras probably learnt about right-angled triangles from the Babylonians?

“Inventions that changed the world” (F MAU) tells stories of different inventions. It is on the S.4 booklist of another Tuen Mun school. You can borrow it after the Lunar New Year holiday.

“Inventions that changed the world” (F MAU)
